Spatter
Dried droplets or splashes of foreign material found ON the surface of either the paint or varnish layer. The droplets can be all colours and are sometimes transparent and can have a different gloss compared to the original paint or varnish surface.Related terms

COMMENT: COMMENT: Spatter droplets and splashes can be removed from the surface as they are a separate layer on the paint layer.
