Paint Components

Paint Components is a large topic in regard to modern paints. We describe some of the components of modern paints that relate back to the degradation phenomena. A short summary of seven different components is given, along with the degradation phenomena it is related to, and provide relevant literature. This section will be extended in the future by compiling and describing more paint components as they are discovered and researched.

The seven different components we describe are:
